Welcome to the Metropolitan International School Heidelberg
In March we will celebrate MIS Heidelbergs 3rd Anniversary. We look back on a successful start and look forward to a promising future!
We are now in the second half of the school year 2009/10.
Our full-day, bilingual school is currently enrolling students in its reception grade classes, comprising kindergarten and preschool. The school language is English, and parents have the opportunity to enroll their children in German instruction periods.
During the summer, our classrooms have been redesigned to be more fully beneficial to student learning and comfort.
Our students come from all over the world. Children attending MIS Heidelberg are from international families who have relocated to the Rhein-Neckar region, and from local German families who desire a bilingual education for their children.
MIS Heidelberg is located in the beautiful Handschuhsheim area of Heidelberg and is easily accessible by car and public transportation. The lovely MIS Heidelberg villa and garden is situated on Mozartstrasse 4, and is barely a minute walk from the OEG “Blumenthalstrasse” tram station.
