Experience MIS’s Summer Camps
MIS offers camps during the summer holidays, not only for its own students, but also for others in the age-group 6 to 10. Indeed, our summer camps are an ideal way to get to know our school at first hand! All camps are bilingual, with native-speaking camp leaders (English and German). The activities include sports, “chocolate-camp” and Musical. This is an experience not to be missed.

1. MIS Winter-Bazaar
On December 5th, 2009 the school will host an WINTER BAZAAR This is an admissions event but will include activities and demonstrations for the whole school. Inclduded will be waffles and other goodies, hand made crafts, a mini concert and lots of activities for children. Be sure to tell your friends and anyone who may be interested. This should be an engaging and fun event for our school and any visitors!

1. JUMPATHON on December 4th, 2010
Dave Henderson, as part of the Sport Curriculum is organizing a Jump-athon on December 4th. This is a fundraiser for the school playground. Please encourage friends and family to sponsor the children as they show their stamina! Parents are welcome to participate and cheer our strong children on.
MIS has become an accredited German High School
The Metropolitan International School has received the High School accreditaion for the Hessen province. MIS is now a ‘Cambridge International Centre’

Important information for all fourth-graders: acceptance into the Gymnasium
Students in MIS’s 4th Grade have begun to tackle the material in past years’ entrance examinations for public grammar schools (Gymnasia). The first subject is ‘Composition’ (writing and story-telling), and their results thus far are most encouraging. If you are interested in our English-German Gymnasium, do come to our next information event (see above).
Intensive Courses in English and German
